Mátyás church 2 Matthias church
The gothic Matthias church was built 700 years ago and regained it’s former splendor at the end of the 19th century. The church got it’s name from one of the biggest kings in the Hungarian history, Matthias Corvinus. The church is located at the Holy Trinity Square in the Buda Castle district right next to the Fishermen’s Bastion.


Basilica Basilica
The St. Stephen’s Basilica has been built in 1905 and is one of the most important tourist and religional sites of Budapest. The neo- renaissance building with some influences of the art of the 19th century is one of the most beautiful churches in Hungary, which is a must to see. It is located close to the Deák Ferenc Square, which is easily accessible with all subway lines ( M1, M2, M3 )


Inner City Franciscan Church Inner City Franciscan Church
The original church was built in the 13th century and one of our early kings, King Andrew III was crowned in this church. The current building was erected in 1743 and most of the frescoes were painted in 1896 for the Millenium celebration of Hungary. It is located at Ferenciek square and easily accessible with the M3 Subway Line and the bus number 7 (red and black).
